Mr. Neil Diamond:
My wife and I love your music and your showmanship. This is a superprise for my wife.
I will give you a little background about my wife and myself. I met by wife in the
Spring of 1969 during a USO sponsered show in Burbank, CA. I was stationed in the USAF
at March AFB in Riverside,CA from 8/1968 to 8/1970. My wife(girlfriend at the time) Helen Zellner
worked at MCA records in North Hollywood,CA after high school graduation as a secretary.
She was in charge of tracking the sales of Cracklin Rose in the summer of 1970.
My wife and I married on Halloween of 1970 and I was transferred to Elemendorf AFB in
Anchorage, AK. Helen and I have enjoyed a great life. We have 2 wonderful children(a son
and a daughter). We have 4 wonderful grandchildren ranging in age from 5 months to 7 years old.
This is a suprise request for my wife and I to meet Neil Diamond at his concert in Sioux City
Iowa on 7/22/08. I was going to ask this request when we went to our 1st Neil Diamond concert
on October of 2001 at Excel Center in St. Paul, Mn. We so enjoyed the wonderful night of Neil
Diamond's concert and his professionalism.
We live approximately 100 miles from Sioux City, Iowa and I suggested to 4 of our closest friends
in May 2008 if they would go to the Neil Diamond concert on 7/22/08. Our 4 friends immediately
said yes. And they will be driving us to the concert. I'm recovering from a bad fall and head
trama 3 weeks ago at Yellowstone National Park.
My wife and I and our friends are so looking forward to your concert in Sioux City, Iowa
on 7/22/08 and I would be such a suprise for my wife and I and our friends to possibly
meet you.
