TO awnser the rest of the questions (i had to re-read it.) WEll it is safe to charge the gun up to 220 psi (as long as it is sch 40 4" pvc.) It is definty better to have a shotter,fatter chmaber then a long skinny one of the volume. Dont worry to much about pressure, as i have said, 4 inch pvc is good to 220 psi and you dont even need to pressure it to even that high.
