I have recently created my first spud gun. My stats are about the same as yours in terms of my chamber. My sparker is in the center and I have no problems at all, my gun is sending big ass potatoes 500ft plus. Make sure you have a good fuel-air mixture, and not too much fuel. also, make sure your potatoes are REALLY hard to shove into the barrel(you should require a ram rod to get it into place, I put mine right inf ront of the chamber). good luck
