Response to Different types of ignition

There are several differences between the standard, push button, BBQ grill ignitor and a lighter (I assume you are talking about the long stemmed grill lighter).

There are a lot of drawbacks from using the lighter. First of all you have to mount it in the combustion chamber and seal it up some how. This causes a weak spot in the in the chamber. Secondly, a lighter will run out and need replaced at some point.

Because of these drawbacks, I suggest a BBQ grill ignitor. I have 2 in my cannon and they work great.
