John you said you witnessed the same thing later. Was it under the same circumstances, i.e., was Jingles sleeping when Taz went up to her? It could be that she is startled if both instances happened when she was sleeping. When everyone is up and awake, how do they interact? I would definitely keep an eye on this. I think it is still to soon for everyone feeling perfectly comfortable. You went on to say that later Jingles came over and gave you a kiss. I'm also wondering if she is a bit jealous. She has been uprooted from her home and people and now needs to adjust to a whole new situation with people and another dog. Just thinking out loud.
