Thank you, Heidi, for designing the church service for Janet that allowed us to express our pain, joy, and appreciation for her life. I especially appreciated all the sharing from our church family - it is truly God's way that we should "share joy together and suffer together". I pray that we find a way to reach others who may need a close, Christian community - I believe that God intends that for us. Though she lost her battle with depression, Sunday's service showed that our community made a difference in Janet's life - and she most certainly made a difference in ours.
