If you mean the Overall Rating of a player, it's because (and this was the reason for going to the salary structure) certain PRIME RATINGS catagories are WAY MORE VALUABLE than others.
So an 80 rated player with Pa 4 Pc 4 Ck 5 Sh 6
is going to be a hell of a lot less valuable than
A 75 rated player with Pa 8 Pc 8 Ck 6 Sh 9
That's why.
Once again, this formula is NOT complicated. The computer does the calculation - everyone gets a salary - simple.
Maybe we could add a feature to Stats Page or NSHL.com, that would allow GM's to input a "hypothetical" player's ratings, to see what their salary would be. ??? Can we do this?
