Well, I played Langenbrunner as a first liner from the beginning, with only this season having him on the 3rd line (aha!) to try and do something, anything, with my team.
So, Langenbrunner did well in a number of line combinations including the powerplay. However, rarely was he put on the PK unit.
My point was, a DeadBoys/Muffs 3rd liner was a SunDogs 1st liner, regardless of the Fa. Even when doubleshifting Langenbrunner he did well and was never injured.
This all brings up an excellent idea that I had eons ago. What ratings are important for which reasons? Artur, you have already started this with the Fa discussion in that the lower the Fa rating the less ice time should be given by placing the player on a lower level line.
Jeff said earlier (correct me if I'm wrong) that PC is vital to scoring, even more so than Sh.
I would like to collect this anecdotal evidence from everyone and put it on the web site. So let's have it, all opinions will be used and collected. I think that this would be even more constructive than reprogramming the HLS2.
