Gentlemen,
a time has come to say a word or 2 about an issue that was on my plate for the second season now, ever since the Beagles franchise bacame known as Beagles.
In the time of a complete mess with the elections south of the border, I say that the real problem that people missed is right here, in NSHL. The change of line rules pales in comparison whith what I am going to gripe about.
Every time I use the find function to search the daily game and stats reports, looking for the results of my Eagles, I constantly get hits for BEAGLES a few times before I get to see what I am looking for. Tonight the pain and suffering culminated when the Beagles were featured in a doubleheader before the Eagles hit the scoreboards.
Given that Eagles were part of the league for much longer time than many other league franchises, I would like to ask the league to have have Beagles change their name for the next season and ban any names that have "egles" inside. Also, while at it, please, rename Mike Eagles as Mike Orlov (Eagles in Russian)
and make this change in effect in all NSHL record books for the past and the future.
If you think that my request is unreasonable or if you don't have any sense of humor, than by God, write something funny yourselves, 'cause I just turned 30 and feel geedy.
