mucc backstage movies dont work?

hi,
i downloaded the mucc backstage movies ,the small ones,.8 little movies as .mpg files.,
but it does not work with any programm and i cannot watch it.
the error sais: file type not supported, but its an mpg file ?
someone who can help?
