I'll continue to answer in the forum rather than in email should anybody else be interested in the answers...
>What did you use for the AA sights on the .50 cal? Looks very good. Also, >what did you use for the Comd's hatch?
The AA sight is some left over Photo Etch Mark Cooper gave me from the Acurrate Armour Crusader AA conversion, not perfect but it fits the bill. The turret is from the ESCI LAV TOW (apparently it has a purpose after all). Quite frankly it is neither large enough nor sloped sharply enough but having tried three times to scratch the piece I will live with it. Funny thing is that the real yank tow turret cupola looks identical to a bare lynx cupola yet none of the 1/35 manufactured versions look that way.
Thanks for the shots, Graeme D. gave me that first one this summer... and it answer some of my last marking questions. I am indeed doing an early lynx (yankee tracks, early gun mount etc). The camo colour scheme with hasty UN markings were an expedient used by the LDSH when they were rapidly flown in in response to the Turk invasion in 74. That is how I will be finishing my model, soon hopefully.
The few 74 LDSH shots show flash supprersors on some of the .30s and a mix of suppressor/no suppressor on the .50s.
