When I toured the plant in Oshawa, and was taken from steel plate though the stages of cutting, welding to the paint room. The whole vehicle was primed white flat outside, gloss inside.We witnessed the whole process hosted by DDGM(Diesel Divison General Motors) at that time , and like a child in a candy store were all amazed at the whole process, watching complete hulls being whipped around by robotic arms with great ease. The paint room is top notch and not sure what brand name was used, but it was white, as my combat boots got a little to close to one of those arms and sprayed my boots white.
