Response to AEV 2?

When the Leopard 2 International service book went to press early/middle 2009, just the ARV 3 Buffel and the Kodiak AEV were on the market.
Later in 2009 FFG came around first time with the news that there is something in the pipeline, showing a pp-slideshow with a lot of animated pics.
The machine was build from the start as ARV / AEV as you want, speciallised for both tasks using different equipment, convertible within 24h if needed.
First time in public at Eurosatory JUN2010 as an ARV.
The Wisent 2 was sent for both biddings resp. capability demonstrations, for the new Canadian ARV and AEV.
Lost against the Rheinmetall BPz 3 / ARV 3 Buffel.
Won the AEV contract.
Actually no Wisent 2 exists having special Canadian features, because of time of course.
One of the basic point of both contratcs is that the major part (if not all) of the production must be in Canada. That's understandable but for such small numbers (12 ARVs resp. 18 AEVs) a huge effort and will need some time.
