Good thing I have at least 2 more C2 MEXAS planned. Looks good Miloslav, very good addition. The front fender extensions should be perfect in photo-etch.

Just joking Im starting to like PE.There was a few things about the MEXAS build I was not liking, this kit adresses most of them.

What sets do you need for the basic conversion? MLM? Or are Real Model planning anything?

I did not prepare my build of the C2A1/Mexas, so I am not completely familiar with it now, but I think I remember that I read somewhere that the hull of the C2A1 is the same as the hull of C1A1 (though I have all necessary MLM kits for both versions I did not compare them to each other).
Should it not be possible to use the C2 set for the C1 MEXAS, too?

Our Canadian specialists can certainly answer this question ?

The hulls are the same....the C1 turrets were removed and the C2 turret put on the older C1 hulls.

Yes, there are common PE parts for any Leopard 1.

What would be great to have in the C2 MEXAS PE set would be the spade grips for the turret mounted C6.

For both C1 and C2 sets the proper curved locking brackets for the AA mounts on the commander's and loader's hatch rings would be excellent.
