Cougar Kit

Good to see they are releasing it. It makes sense with the parts available in the late version Grizzly.

Not a big surprise though as it was shown at the 2011 Nurnberg show...

Latest from the US Trumpeter Importer

August 8 2012, 12:20 AM

I never noticed if Trumpeter had it on their own website, but find their site slow at the best of times anyway.

Those releases are from Stevens International, one of the importers for the US.

Sorry Graeme, nothing on the Husky as of yet....not sure why it is taking so long other than getting all the Grizzly and Cougars out of their system (are there anymore in the line that haven't been produced?), then maybe now they will concentrate on the Husky. Bison would be nice as well, since the Aussie version will be out by then.

Box Art Image

The box art image actually looks pretty good. They even got the correct two piece crew helmet right!

add it to the list...

I think I've bought more of these Trump 6x6 than any other kit, including all M-113 types!

Artwork reminds me of this photo, even to the point where the artist has mistakenly transfered the right-hand mirror of the Cougar parked beside the main one in the photo, and used it as the left-hand mirror of the main image. Wag of the finger for that!

Well, we went so many years without any AVGPs and now we finally have them. Even with the errors and detail issues it sure beats having to cut and chop to create a kit.

I agree...I think that pic was the box artist's inspiration.
