did Canada ever have the JERRV version of the Cougar or only the MRAP version

The JERRV has a mast mounted video camera system...similar to the Coyote Recce

Cougars

When we first trialed them in 2007, the trials vehicles were borrowed from the USAF, and had the mast. After the trials, our version was without the MAST and had low roof. Second order for more went in and they started to arrive with a higher roof. We used 2 types of the JERRV vehicles, one used to transport safely EOD operators, supplies, and equipment, the other, seen with small ramps to transport the remotely controlled robots (TALON and Packbot)

They are seen with various small turrets as well, depending on timeframe and useage .

If you need reference material, let me know.

Anthony

If you have a couple of PIC's of the units with the ramp for the robots... Right side, Left Side, Rear... and maybe an interior pic of the storage area in the rear...

send to marc.gagnon@ucdsb.on.ca or paste links

Would be appreciated as I have just picked up a Panda 6X6 Cougar JERRV

Thanks
