BEWARE when sending goods or money to ANY person whose address is: Apartado 51
3721-902 OLIVEIRA DE AZEMEIS, PORTUGAL. A small-time crook who goes by the name "Ricardo Henriques", "Ricardo Oliveira" and possible other different names has been using this address to defraud buyers and vendors on Ebay (and possibly elsewhere).
He has operated under the user-ID "coinsnumis", "allkindofcollectables", and "numisfila_portugal" amongst others. These have all been deregistered, but it's only a matter of time before he sets up a new one.
He uses the same address as he believes (rightly so up until now) that the local authorities do not care about such frauds.
To be on the safe side, don't deal with ANYONE in Portugal unless you know them well, and/or they pay you in advance (or send goods COD).

Yes, I was scammed by him in Feb 2004 for $800 USD.
Given that this was the third time I've been scammed (in as many trades) by Portuguese ebayers, it's probably safer not to send any money or goods to Portugal unless you cover yourself appropriately. (ie: use escrow, and only send goods after you have confirmation of cleared funds in your account, or cash in your hand).
Portugal is in such esteemed company as Belarus, Russia, Israel, Nigeria, and Indonesia amongst others.

I understand your indignation, but 1 bad portuguese is not representative. Hundreds of portuguese people trade on eBay and they are just as honest or dishonest as other people. I find that comment a racist comment, that's all. And those kind of comments are not the best way to make your site credible. I myself have been cheated by americans and other people, and would never post a comment saying all americans are scumm !!!
