Yes, really. I would be awfully surprised to learn the Swiss or Germans, or any other major watchmaking region, or anyone in THIS world, for that matter, used computer modeling to design, simulate, or virtually test watch designs in 1930, 1940, or 1950.
Beyond that deliberate tongue in cheek "take" on your question, my comments and question were rhetorical. You didn't really think that was my "thesis," did you?
My quoting the authority, and the conversation we had, was presented literally.
My question was, "What do you (the readers of this forum) think about this/these idea(s)?"
That said, I'd like to see other comments before responding further.
