I'm new to discusson on the Purist website but have been reader here for quite some time. I love the forum!

Here's some skeletonizing work I'm doing on a new watch I'm making. I thought I'd get some feedback along the way.

Thanks and looking forward to becoming a useful member.
James

Welcome to the forum!

I'm not a watchmaker so hopefully some of the resident gurus here can give u pointers/suggestions regarding skeletonization.

Cheers,
Anthony

I'm hoping to get some feedback on what to do with the mainplate. I was thinking of doing an engine-turned design. Also, what to do with the ratchet gear, etc. Should I blue them, engrave them, counterbore them?

Thanks again,
James
