Anyone have pics of a sliding pinion chrono mechanism? ...

As I believe is used in the Valjoux 7750? I can picture a laterally engaging mechanism and a vertical clutch, but not the sliding pinion.

Another other modern/current chrono designs use a sliding pinion?
