An F1 has 1 pure wolf parent and 1 wd or dog parent. An F2 has 1 pure wolf grand parent. F3, 1 pure great grand parent.
I'm thinking this isn't, scientifically, the correct terminology but that is the general way they are referred to and they are also called 1st gens, 2nd gens, etc. When these terms are used, everyone how works with wolves and wolfdogs is aware of what you are talking about.
