Hi, While I strongly agree that any pet you take on should be a life time commitment. I disagree with your feelings about finding a new home for wolf dogs. I have rescued or help find new homes for a number of wolf dogs over the past 12 years. Many of the new home keep in contact with me. True it takes time for them to readjust, but they do, and they re-bond and seem to understand in the same way a dog that you get from a shelter seems to appreciate and understand that they have a second chance. I stay in touch and work with the wolf dogs and their new humans. I have seen many happy loving wolf dogs in second homes. Don't sell them short, they are very intelligent and adaptable. If they need a new home, they can love and bond again.
