Melanie Griffith, 43, has clarified comments she made to PAPER magazine about smoking marijuana with her kids and having them consult her rather than "go out and buy some(stuff) that has weird psychedelic chemicals in it."
The actress said she didn't intend to advocate that they use drugs.
"Because of my history with drugs, my children don't want to try anything," she said. "I was into cocaine and alcohol, which I don't do anymore,,,,I have said to my children, "If anyone comes up to you with pot or any drugs, please tell me first. If you feel like you have to do it, I would rather you do it with me than somebody else. " I would rather they not even try it. Now do we really think this is the type of mentality that has the right to tell US what our rights are as responsible exotic animal owners?
I don't particularly think it is productive for anyone to be loaded around exotic cats, or any other animal, much less their own children and advocating getting high with them.
