  • NOVEMBER STATE BALLOT ISSUES !

      ALASKA:
      Measure 1- Would bar all citizen ballot initiatives relating to the wildlife issues.

      Measure 6 - Would retain the prohibition of same day airborne hunting of wolves.

      ARIZONA:
      Proposition 102 - Would require a two-thirds majority to approve any ballot initiative relating to the wildlife issues.

      FLORIDA:
      Measure to limit pig confinement on factory farms - Would ban the use of "gestation crates".

      MASSACHUSETTS:
      Question 3 - Would prohibit dog racing at which wagering on dog racing occur.


      MONTANA:
      Initiative 143 - Would impose a moratorium on new game farm licenses and ban "canned hunts."

      NORTH DAKOTA:
      Question 1 - Would create a new section for the Constitution relating to the right to hunt, trap, and fish.

      OKLAHOMA:
      (Pending Certification) - Would ban cockfighting and cause it to be illegal to keep birds for fighting purposes.


      OREGON:
      Measure 97 - Would ban the use of steel jawed leg hold traps and body gripping traps for recreation and fur commerce, and the use of Compound
      1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) and sodium cyanide.


      VIRGINIA:
      Question 2 - Would amend the Constitution to establish "a right to hunt, fish, and harvest game."


      WASHINGTON:
      Initiative 713 - Would ban the use of steel jawed leg hold traps and body gripping traps for recreation and fur commerce, and the use of Compound
      1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) and sodium cyanide.
