Sigh. Those horrible ads barely paid for the site to be holed up in a closet where the A/C kept going out which overheated all the servers (which we had to hand make since even Dell was way too expensive for us then). We didn't have any hardware or software redundancy then. Chris and I almost threw in the towel. Glad we didn't though. Things can and do change.
