Yes, tomfly, there are people still seeking-- I do not want to believe that the footage does not exist as of yet, or at least that created in the spirit of the footage WG writes about. I am surprised by how few people have read any of his books, or perhaps I should not be so surprised when confronted by the pop fodder that finds its way to the bestseller list. (Which I generally avoid like the plague, and I say generally.) One possible reason for the lack of footage and footageheads: this generation's lack of a practical idealism. An ignorant cynicism seems to be the default, these days. People are world-weary without reason unless it's stagnation that does them in. The "nothing new under the sun" point of view stifles creativity and wonder, both essential to the production and appreciation of something like the footage. I found these images via google, although it is a pity that I cannot read French. Any translators out there? Oh, and the images are at the right hand side of the screen-- just hit the arrows to scroll through them.
