As for the pacemaker -- I can understand your concern about the pacemaker. However, I remember when my grandmother had a pacemker put in years ago, and she is STILL going strong. In fact, she will turn 100 this year!!
I am sure that today's pacemakers are even MORE efficient than hers.
Try to stay positive ... you never know when one of those doctor's appointments will bring some good news. It seems you have an excellent team of doctors working together to give you the best medical care available.
