My husband and I will be heading out of town bright and early tomorrow morning to visit our daughter in Palm Springs for the weekend. I won't be on the computer much at all today since I will be doing my usual Friday cleaning, laundry, etc.... and packing. So I thought I would "pop in" to tell all of you that I hope you have a nice weekend!

Helen,  77 is not bad when you consider what the high might be.   Isn't their humidity very low though.    We started out with high humidity and 78 this morning.    You start sweating if you walk outside.

what I meant. The high is over 100, but yes, it's dry like here. And Cmas loves the heat ...

Have a nice trip Cmas. And Margee, your heat is unbearable. Coupled with the humidity. I feel for you. Stay in the A/C and stay cool. It's one of those day to not go out if you can help it. Helen, while your heat is dry it's still hotter than snot. It's 90* here with full humidity. It's miserable. It went from cold and rainy to hot and steamy overnight. Hope my plants can handle it. I hate going out to water them in this heat.

I love your expressions! Well 90 is kinda bearable for me, but when we get those 110+ days, 4-5 in a row, just shoot me! You open front door and it's like open the oven door. I don't even go down for mail those days! I don't want to take elevator in case of black out!

I guess  all of us  have to be careful in  heat.   And the older I get the more it  bothers me.

I'm not used to the heat. And I hate it. I don't blame you for not going after the mail etc. I wouldn't either. I become so lazy in the summer. Of course I'm lazy in the winter. I guess that leaves half the year I'm productive. lol I'll just get worse as I age. I can't stand the heat. Mike walks the dogs every night and doesn't mind it. I would be dying. I run around the house with them and play hide and seek and hide their toys.As long as we're in the AC I'm fine. It's amazing how fragile we become.
