HI Helen, Cmas & Omi......

Thanks so much for thinking of me. I was in the hospital since 6/9. I was just released this past Thursday. I went into Afib again...my heart rate was l50....and my pulse rate was very, very slow. I couldn't breathe. I honestly thought I was a goner this time. I had to have the top part of my heart burned away, and a pace maker that performs three separate functions put in. I'm exhausted, uncomfortable and terrified that my "life" depends on this little square box if I want it to continue.

I don't know if I told you all that the cancer has returned. 2 small spots next to the original outbreak. My heart is too weak right now to start the Chemo pills. I see my Oncologist and my Heart Specialist next week. More Doctor appointments.....!!!

Again...thanks for thinking of me. Hope all is well with you and yours. Please remember me in your prayers. Will drop in when I get a burst of energy again.

Luv yah....

you are having a time of it, aren't you?    Hang in there.   Stay as positive as you can.  That will help your heart.   And I'm hoping for the best for you.

Hi honey, therre's not much I can add. Except we love you and are thinking of you all the time. I worry so about you. I was glad to hear from Helen was was going on with you. She pre-warned me. I know what your mean by more doctor appoitments. You must hate them. But you must go. You never know when you'll hear some good news for a change. happy.gif Take it easy. Come back when you feel better. We worry about you. And we just miss you. I'm so sorry you're in pain from the pacemaker. But you have to have it! Right?
I just wish things didn't always cause pain. I don't understand that. Take care dear. Love you, Oms

I thought of you when we passed a sign about the cancer center -- it said "Heaven Can Wait -- You WILL Conquer This"

As for the pacemaker -- I can understand your concern about the pacemaker. However, I remember when my grandmother had a pacemker put in years ago, and she is STILL going strong. In fact, she will turn 100 this year!! happy.gif happy.gif I am sure that today's pacemakers are even MORE efficient than hers. happy.gif

Try to stay positive ... you never know when one of those doctor's appointments will bring some good news. It seems you have an excellent team of doctors working together to give you the best medical care available.

Also know that we are all here for you and will help you get through this. You can always count on my prayers and I know the others are praying for you as well.

Do you know if Meem is well enough to read the board on the regular basis? Or is it just hit and miss with her? I ask because I never asked before and I wondered. Thanks.
