Mike still hasn't seen the cherries. He said it's usually around the 4th of July. We really suck here. WE can't get fresh produce like you can. We can get fresh corn and tomotoes and zucchini. But that's about it. (at the roadside market's) Just thought I'd tell you how lucky you are. happy.gif

Believe me, I do know how lucky we are to live here in this "fruit-full" area. happy.gif

I'll probably hit market tomorrow, as the peaches and nectarines should be just about at their glory. I had corn last night that neighbor brought me from this area east of here ... everyone raves about Sloughhouse corn, but I don't see it (or I guess taste it wink.gif, but it was good, as I do love corn on the cob!

Hang in there, your Rainer's are sure to come. And it's so worth the wait!!

I love corn on the cob. I could eat literally 8 of them in a row if no one was looking. wink.gif Lots of butter and salt and pepper. Not exactly good for you but oh my it tastes great.

You know I need I new keyboard. This one sticks and I'm constantly redoing words. The letters sticks. I haven't replaced this thing is ages so it's time.
