I look back to the 1990s and the lyndhurst park was a clean, pure place. a park which represented open space and clean fresh air. A park that is now overdeveloped, stripped of its beauty. Everyday i ride by and see it as an urban landscape. A Freshly painted white gazebo which is a facade for the imperfect world we live in. A fenced in dirt area, forgetting where it came from. I feel that parks are all about open space and green grass. Not an overdeveloped product of our areas current obsession with this urbanization which will eventually begin to affect the quality of our suburban lives.

THATS YOUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK , AND DONT FORGET THE 1,000,000 RESCUE TRUCK THAT THE FIRE DEPARTMENT IS GETTING, AND YOUR TAX DOLLARS WILL BE PAYING FOR A TRUCK THAT THEY DONT NEED . BUT THATS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU VOTE IN PEOPLE THAT THINK THEY KNOW IT ALL , ITS SCREW THE TAX PAYER AND LOOK WHAT I DID , SO WHEN ELECTION COMES AROUND , GET RID OF THEM OR ITS ONLY GOING TO GET WORSE

Sad when it is a choice of bad or worse.

The choices should be good or better but it is a sad state of affairs when we point to one group of inept people and think they are not too bad because of how crooked their predecessors were.

There are a lot of things in this town that need to be fixed on a structural level that should take precedence over surface stuff and beautification.

Sadly that transcends this town and reaches all the way to the top.. Political races in the whole country are in the same condition.

its a shame also that they cut the 2 or 3 great trees that once representented our community. also the logic of the summer heat beating down on plastic does not really create a very desirable environment for childrens play. what a dumb and unnecessary operation.

im sure there will be some sort of lawsuit when a child gets a 2nd degree burn from playing on the burning hot plastic jungle gym. its just completely crazy i dont think anyone had a problem with the existing park. it was shady. the grass was green and children were happy.

the town will do whatever they please and they will continute do to it until someone steps in their way. without protesting these things, you are basically giving local govt umlimited power within the breaches of the constitution.
