SCHOOL CLOSING

I do not understand why all the schools are closed when it has not even started snowing at all. Even if it starts later, the kids could have gone to school for a half day. I think this was a waste of a snow day.

What does everyone else think.

I have a job, thank you, and I do not always complain. If I have something to say, I am going to say it, whether you like it or not. If you don't want to listen then stay off the message board. Isn't that the purpose of this board, to discuss things in town?

I think it was a smart idea to close the schools. It is very difficult for the custodians to have to clean up all the elementary schools and the high school by the time the students would need to have been picked up. The safety of the students, parents, and faculty is probably what the superintendent was thinking of.

Snow prediction was approximately 4 inches.

I think it was smart for the schools to close. The safety and welfare of the children and the parents who drive them to school, as well as the bus drivers are more important than anything else.

Who wants to trudge thru that mess??? Never mind the chance of an accident.
