I was just wondering if The Board of Education can get their heads out of their asses long enough to see what a horrible thing they have done to the kids in the Jefferson school Anex!!

Can I ask why the kids from Roosevelt School needed to come to the anex. I know the roof fell in at the school, but they couldn't have gone to the prevost building???? NOW THE KIDS CAN NOT LEAVE THE CLASSROOM AT THE ANEX!!!
THEY HAVE GYM IN THE SMALL CLASSROOM THEY HAVE LUNCH AND SNACK IN THE CLASSROOM THEY NEVER GET A BREAK FROM THE CLASSROOM.

HEY MR DIMASCIO YOUR KID GOES TO THE ANEX WHY DONT YOU DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!! OR IS MR ABATE YOUR PUPPETMASTER TOOO!!! ALL YOUR PROMISES OF OPEN COMMUNICATION HAVE FLOWN OUT THE WINDOW AS SOON AS YOU WERE ELECTED!! JUST AS SUSPECTED!!! SAME OLD CRAP!!

Blame it all on MAYOR DiLASICO, He is the one that started this MESS. He had the annex built to bring his nephew to town and make himself look good. The Jefferson School Parents were against it from the start , I was at the first meeting at the school to ask questions, But that a--hole ABATE only answered the questions that he wanted to , he just said its going to be built weather you like it or not, I kept on asking him why do you have to disrupt our kids in the middle of the school, and all he would say is thats how its going to be. If it werent for my wife I would of punched the S--T out of him. He is a very arragant MotherF--ker, and should be FIRED. As for the POOL that went from 3 million to 6 million , again the MAYOR did what he wanted and not the Taxpayer. He was asked what its going to cost to mantaine he said nothing. Well I know for a fact its gonna cost 250,000 a year. If hes not voted out in May he will have 4 more years to SPEND YOUR MONEY, How about another foutain in the intersection of Ridge Rd and Valley Brook?

My child is on a room that needed to be relocated. Are you that stupid to think that the board of Ed planned the crisis? I can’t believe how fast they actually reacted.

You can thank Stella, Scardino-Alongi, and Sedlock, who got kicked off the board. They created a mess with the janitors. If you ask anyone, that caused this problem. Thank you jerks. They never cared about my kids. As long as their incapable friends and spouses had cushy jobs, they were happy.

Only a low class ignoramus would complain about a new school and a crisis situation.

Mr. Stromolo our GREAT new principal told us personally that things are being handled excellently. This is an unfortunate situation for us and not you moron!

It is an unfortunate situation for all involved., You just don't get it! Your the moron!!! Our kids are now prisoner in the classroom. Is that fair! Don't preach to me about a new school! We never wanted it! The mayor wanted it! the board of ed wanted it! did they ever ask what the parents and teachers wanted! The teachers are just as unhappy but they will never let you know that! they fear for themselves! This entire mess could have been avoided! Why send Roosevelt kids to the annex! why not prevost building where there is more room! Once again the children of Jefferson community school get punished! Don't say another word about the new school you don't go here and you don't understand how these small children and the parents feel. If your child was put in this situation the same way it was done to us you can be sure u would not have been happy! take a look from our point of view! Then when you know what your talking about, then maybe you can speak! until then shut up

You were blessed with a new school. Shut-up and say thank you. Roosevelt School parents would have welcomed it. Only an ignorant fool could see the world as you do.

The parents are just upset because they can't sit on the corner and complain about the school anymore. I guess they can't find space down by the train station to gather.

It's a new school, who wouldn't want it.

I am embarassed to even say I am a Jefferson School Parent. The same few parents some stand behind the scene and complain to others about things that they really know nothing about. Others voice there dislikes so loudly that noone wants to listen to them anymore. Sometimes we can't change things that are going on. But, more importantly we can react in a way which shows our children that even though we don't like the change we have to accept it. It teaches our children to be independent, productive adults. They learn by our reactions. Do not speak in front of them, they repeat everything you say.
As for a prisioner in our classroom, this is not a permanent situation having the roosevelt children come to our school. Be proud of the beautiful new school. If we were living in a inner city town they would love to have a new school like the one was given to our children. Again whether we asked for it, liked it or not. Appreciate the things life has given you, there are soooo many less fortunate in there situations whether it be financially, health, or happiness.
The same parents that hang by the pole complain about such trivial things, there teachers, coaches, pta, sometimes even about the church they attend. Take a good look and see how your complaining effects your children. They probablly are not invited to many parties, or playdates because when people see you come they run the other direction.
God forbid our school burned down or we had to move to another school in the town I hope the parents would be accepting and not act like ungrateful, complaining, idiots.
Everyone in Roosevelt, and the annex has been effected by this and has been inconvienced but if we accept it think about the lesson we are teaching our children. Not always are we going to like what life has in store for us but if we accept it and do the best we can we will be ok.
I teach my children by example, so if they are learning in a cardboard box than I have to do what i can as a parent to make up the difference.. My children are effected in this situation too but i cant change it so i just aceept and move on.
Be happy you have childrem some can't,. Be happy there healthy, some aren't, be happy you wake up every morning, some don't. Stop complaing about what school is doing what, what teacher is doing this, what the board of education is doing ,(run agaisnt them if you must), coaches are volunteers, pta memebers are there for YOUR children, Accept what we can not change and make your life the best you can.

Good for you sallylou, I agree 100% with you, they should be so lucky to have a new school, brand new desks , bathrooms, CENTRAL AIR,(beats air conditioners), and finally a clean school for the first time in 100 years. These mothers need to get a job!
