LHS basketball program

they have a record of 11-7 having a good season just lost to St.Marys 53-38 game was closer than score shows. It's hard and unfair for our local sports to compete aganinst teams which recruit from Passaic, Newark, Bloomfield. Our kids work just as hard only to be embarrased and humiliated, no wonder many kids dont bother playing.

I agree, town teams should not have to play schools that can recruit. How are they doing against non-recruiting teams? They were an undefeated JV last year.

They did alright, a new coach, a new system, 12 seniors. Should have done better. Faced a couple of strong teams, Heights, Becton, made mistakes. The first half of the season the games that they lost were only by a few points.
