Why be there? You might learn someting contrary to what you want to believe. The last thing many people want is to have their beliefs challenged by facts. Nope, it's better to get your news here with unsubstantiated facts put forth by anonymous people. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Let's all go and ask Comm. Giangeruso some questions!

Let's all go to this forum and ask Police Commissioner Robert Giangeruso about his hiring practices. What criteria did he use in choosing all of the police officers he has hired and promoted? Isn't it true that he never even interviewed a single one? Is it a coincidence that nearly everyone he hired is related to him or his close friends? Is it a coincidence that the men who have been promoted are, for the most part, the WORST cops on the force, with the lowest education level, worst attitudes, poorest on-the-job performance records but hmm..they do seem to have this in common: they do construction work on the commissioner's house for free, run his errands, do his dirty work (can you say, Li-tire for Hire??) Let's ask the commissioner why he hired the son and nephew of his good friend - is it a coincidence that this good friend gave the commissoner's brother a job just months before? Let's ask the commissioner how his actions could EVER be perceived as honest, ethical and responsible. Let's ask ourselves why we would ever again be so foolish, as to vote for Commissioner Giangeruso. Something sure stinks here and even expensive Italian cologne can't hide it.

Expensive Italian Cologne? LMAO

This is the funniest! Look bud, I'm a Bandolino and I don't even wear "expensive Italian cologne". That was a really stupid comment but FUNNY as all hell, nonetheless. And the laugh is on YOU!! HA! HA! HA! HA!

Why don't I ask YOU...to use your own words...how YOUR "actions could ever be perceived as honest, ethical and responsible" if you didn't ask the commissioner yourself but chose, instead, to sit behind a keyboard using the name, "CUDDYCRUISER"?

And don't ask yourself as to why you would vote for Commissioner Giangeruso again because it's my very good guess that you didn't vote for him the first time around. I'll bet that he doesn't want your vote and he sure as hell doesn't need it.

As an aside: You might want to try out any kind of cologne yourself because, to me, you are emitting a strong stench that's coming right through my pc!!
HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!

"Bandolino" you seem to be alittle on the defensive side today. I don't think the previous poster was talking about you with the "Italian Cologne".

Maybe you should reread his post and see that he was talking about the commissioner, unless of course you are the comissioner hiding behind your pc to see what people are saying about you.

Bandolino should heed the comments below my original post - they "got" it and you certainly showed your ignorance - nobody was talking about you or what cologne you wear - make an effort to actually understand the posts you respond to so you don't come across as being ignorant or worse, stupid. Furthermore, look up the words honest, ethical and responsible in the dictionary because clearly you don't know what they mean. There is nothing wrong with a citizen suggesting that fellow residents come together (there is strength in numbers) and ask an elected official/candidate valid questions about his professional conduct. Are you suggesting that Commissioner Giangeruso is above reproach and is not obligated to be accountable for his actions and decisons? I find it interesting that you claim that "he doesn't want your vote and he sure as hell doesn't need it." Why wouldn't he want my vote? Because I'm questioning him? Seems to me that he should want the support, trust and respect of all residents and if he has nothing to hide then there should be no issue with answering the questions posed in the earlier post. Your beligerent and defensive response is very telling indeed.

Sorry but the laugh is still on you, "Cuddy", since you misunderstood every sentence that I posted.

You came in here making insinuations and nasty implications. If that is to be the case with you then I responded by suggesting that the Comm. doesn't want or need the vote of anyone who would carry on as beligerently as you did. Do you understand me so far?

I suggested that you should, indeed, question him first before coming on to a message board under a fake name making the nasty accusations that you did in the nasty manner that you did. Questioning him would be a bit more "honest, ethical and responsible" on your part rather than showing up in here under the name "Cuddy". Understand me now?

Don't try and play tit for tat with me because I am just laughing at you when you try that silly game.

I attended the rally at the Polish American club, and one of our commissioners said the town pool WAS 2 feet short, and could only be used for recreation and the seniors. What happened to our swim team and scholarships that they talked about at the forum. Once again the people of Lyndhurst were lied too.

Even if the pool is 2 feet short they still can use if for a swim team. North Arlington plays basket ball in a gym the size of a shoe box.Not even close to regulation size.

Well I am only repeating what was said. I would look into the rules of being on a competition swim team, because my daughter competed on a swim team in high school, and there are specific rules and regulations. Check your facts.

The people in Lyndhurst were not lied to at all. Nothing of the sort was said, in any speeches, at the rally. And when you say "lied to" there is only one O on the word to. HA!! HA!! HA!! Also when you ask a question you should put a question mark at the end of the sentence. And you don't need all of those commas, either.

If you can't put together a few simple sentences who, in God's name, is going to even listen to what you have to say? If you can't comprehend the written word then I think that it stands to reason that you are not comprehending the spoken word.

No need for you to worry about swim teams and scholarships as far as I know. Not to be concerned with being lied to, either. Don't you have a hobby or something to keep yourself busy with?

I forgot you are perfect. I am only repeating what was stated. We were lied to at the forum,(you know the one you were not at) because our one commissioner said"there would be a swim team, and children would be able to receive scholarships." So when you have a clue let all of us know. Tell us Bandolino, since you know it all. HOW MUCH IS THE MAINTENANCE OF THIS POOL GOING TO BE.

Stop crying, you were never lied to. I don't have the figures regarding the maintenace of the pool. Do you?

The people in Lyndhurst, that I have spoken to, are very happy about having a pool. Why don't you stop trying to put a damper on all of the new and exciting things that have been happening here? You sound like a crank who hobbles into a fun party and hollers, "Everybody out!!" Lighten up.

The one thing that you said in your last post that has any truth to it is when you stated, "Rumor has it..." You got that right. So why don't you stop spreading them?

I'm not one hundred percent sure but I think that you even spelled Benedetto incorrectly! Can't you at least check your spelling before you spit these words & names out?? Looks to me like there are two rocket scientists posting in here, if that! Now THAT is something to laugh about!! HA!!! HA!!! HA!!! HA!!!
