| Ever since the day DiLascio sent out flyer's bashing Pezzolla and Guida it has been a quiet election . The only signs Ive seen are DiLascio signs , some houses have 5 signs even though its a single family , some people woke up to signs on there lawn even though they didnt want one , signs were put on houses up for sale and people didn't even live there who asked for them ? It seems to me that their spending tons of money to stay in , with the last phone call from the Mayor himself begging for your vote . If they are going to all those extremes to win , they must be hiding something they dont want you to find out . If they win , I cant wait to see all the broken promises . The reason I say that , I know a lot of town workers that were on the challengers side but now there sucking up to the DiLascio Team , I wonder how much money they spent for there votes . Good Luck |

Snow 2009 is also logged in as LyndhurstOnly. What is it? Two of you who are coming in here under several different names and trying to give the false impression of a crowd? After all of the laughing that I did in here you still can't see how ridiculously silly you have been coming across?
Your nasty post was unnecessary. The Lyndhurst First ticket held a normal campaign and put up signs only where a sign was requested. I know this for a fact. And there were signs all over town, that is making a statement. Just because the opponents were not able to pull off a campaign with lawn signs and flyers and public speaking in a legitimate headquarters, this is how you handle it? You sound like a second grader who is mad that they can't play. I think that you really need to see this.

I agree with you I see there signs all over even spoke with people who have the signs and they dont want them. If they get back in wait till you see our tax bills. They are killing us. Their pool is not even the right size for the school to use, the jefferson extra school is not even done. The town park is a mess with it uneven grass that collect giant puddles when it rains. It is a joke. If you have not voted yet please vote them out. |

Who's big day? You are right it was for the people who were promised something. We need to vote them out. I also spoke to many people who felt obligated to put a sign up and I saw many houses that were vacant, such as the one on Union and Ridge Road. One more thing since when are they allowed to put signs in tree areas along Orient and Ridge Rd? I agree, there is something more to this. They are spending an awful lot of money and working to hard for a little town election. Town employees would not be going crazy for an election unless things were promised. THIS IS A VERY SAD SITUATION. |

You have to be kidding. If people didn't want the signs they would take them off. You cannot be serious. I know a lot of people that are surely voting for the current administration. They would be crazy not to. Look around at the beautiful town we now have with a stream of revenue coming in. Much needed repairs are now being done and the town has been revived. Visitors wish they lived here and not enough people that live here appreciate what this administration has done for us. Property values are at an all time high when most other towns are dropping and taxes are in line with what they should be. Services are more than any other town take a look around. Shame on you! You should have pride in our town and what our Mayor and Commissioners have done for it. They are life long residents that have keep our town safe and made it a town to be proud of.
The town hall park is beautiful and the pool will be a welcome addition to our town. School age children families and seniors will benefit from it and we are saving money because we don't have to bus our children to another town to get the benefit of the pool. Football field incredible, softball soccer fields incredible, basketball center awesome come on we have the best of everything right here and other towns want to use our facilities. We are so lucky and you take that for granted.
The others that are running are not informed and have not done their homework. They need to learn a lot before jumping into a commissioner position. They couldn't answer one question the Leader made them look real good that is not the words they used and one woman look as if she were going to cry during the questions the other kept saying I lost my train of thought Paul could have sold his time to talk Evelyn showed us it's time to retire and Vasquez came off as cocky none of them had the knowledge of how a town works and what you can and can't do. Do you really want them to practice now when the country's economy is the way it is. I am going with a sure thing a group that has proven they know what they are doing and has done us well. Elaine get off this site stop stirring up trouble you know this Mayor has done the right thing by you and has done the right thing for all people in this town stop trying to cause trouble. Evelyn stop living in the past people were tired of hearing about your triple A rating 30 yrs ago when the questions you were asked had nothing to do with that you just proved you couldn't handle a simple debate much less run a town.
Lyndhurst take pride in your town and vote for the best choice out their our Mayor Dilascio and Commissioners Haggerty DiMaggio Giangeruso and Abruscato they have made me proud to say I live in Lyndhurst. |

THIS IS FUNNIER THAN I EVER IMAGINED. The property values dropped across the whole United States, but I guess not here in dirtyhurst. The wonderful pool is not just for dirtyhurst .It is for everyone in the state of NJ. Not only was grant money used but your wonderful pool was built on state property. This is fact. I called the state and anyone can come and use it. It was built to small for a swim team that everyone was promised. Should I go on.
The beautiful park as you stated is used as a bathtub. The fountain in the summer is filled with people and children. You cannot drink eat or smoke in the park unless it benefits them. The children cannot play football, ride bikes or skateboard. What kind of park is this? Oh yeah, and they want to build another park on the corner of Valleybrook and Pine street.
Now at the hockey dinner we were told a 2 million dollar hockey rink for 45 children was going to be built. A new middle school. What else is left to build in Dilascio land? People in this small town will buy anything as long as money is being spent. And how do you think he is paying it back? Not out of just his pocket, but out of yours, mine and everyone else's. You do not spend forty-two million and not expect to raise taxes. I PITY YOU FOOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
