after the election we see our current ticket back in office. these five clowns are a joke, completely making a mockery of the system and making a mockery of simple minded easily lead voters. every cronie or someone who was helped out politically by these guys is voting for them. its more of less organized crime within lyndhurst. these clowns as you can see in the weekly paper haven't filed where their campaign expenses came from and still refuse to do so. now after i see a green and yellow sign on almost every lawn in lyndhurst, these guys still don't have the nerve to show there finances. whey are they afraid to show there expenses, are they taking it out of a trust fund of tax money?? its a complete joke and people should be pissed off. i am very pissed off and i demand answers by the state of by the federal government. someone should come and check these guys out and watch their transactions. these guys rented out two campaign buildings and probably spent about 20,000 campaigning. as far as the other ticket, they may as well been on the payroll as well. just look at how fishy it is. i didn't hear one thing about these other guys i didn't see one sign from the other ticket on any lawns, only a few pezzola signs. for all we know this party was a set up by our current administration to guarantee a victory, and they all probably benefited with political favors from the green ticket. something smells very fishy about this whole ordeal and i wouldn't be surprised if the whole thing was a setup to get these corrupt invincible politicians back in office for another term.

And by this you mean it's different then when Guida and his boys controlled things?

It's been this way for years and years... thinking it is going to change is like saying George W. Bush was a great American President. Or Jon Corzine is a Great Governor.... To make matters even more interesting,Tuesday at the American Legion were the Mayor and the commisioners had their party one of their guess decided to park rite on the middle of the sidewalk on Park Ave. I saw the owner of the house talking with a police officer the officer went into the party to find the guest. When the guest came out things got ugly. The owner was upset and wanted the owner of the vehicle ticketed. The chief of police came out, police commisioner,and other board members came out to see what was going on. The owner of the vehicle appeared drunk and was getting into the face of the owner of the house. As what I saw and heard the owner of the vehicle was shoved into his car buy a woman and he was not ticketed, arrested, nothing. Just like the saying I guess its who you know. Its unfourtnate because there was a aduience this time alot of people in the neighborhood saw and heard what went on...

Not only are they back in again yesterday our tax bills came out. They do what they want, when they want. The tax bills should have been out the 1st week of the month. But with the election once again they hid the tax bills. Now we have another 4 years of unwanted properties and pools, fountains and buildings we don't need. Not to mentions our children will not get a proper education. because there is no money. What a joke.

What do you mean our children will not get a proper education??? Why??? Just because the voters turned down the budget does not mean the budget will not get approved anyway. The BOE now goes before the Board of Commisoners, they pass the budget as is. No cuts!!!! So what are you talking about????

Not only is this common, but it will become more common with the economy tanking... Voters reject the School budget, and then it gets passed by default...

Its amazing on how great they said they were doing , spending , buying and building . We could do this because we are the Board of Commissioners . We do what we want and do it when we want . We dont need your vote , it means nothing to us . And they are building and bonding , and they have been lying about it for years . And they wont raise taxs . i mean there have always been corrupt tickets in office its been happening since the beginning of time. but this is the first ticket in lyndhurst history that has affected the way i live my life, both visually and physically. everytime i pull up to an intersection i see a blinking stop sign(1500$) each flashing insult in my face. we now have two bacheball courts in the lyndhurst park as opposed to the already unnecessary one bacheball court. our town park which was once rustic and quiet and a symbol for our town as a whole is now an urban park with nowhere left to walk, with a fountain where indians come to bathe. and seething hot slides that children can burn their skin on in the summer heat. man this town is changing for worse and you can see it from many angles of the town. and it upsets me on a personal level.
