A lot of folks have already posted great advice here, but I'll still throw in my $.02
NO MORE CREDIT CARD. Seriously don't use it. The student loan debt is manageable but credit card debt will get away from you. I had to have a lot less fun and a lot fewer nice things when i was in grad school due to lack of funds. I don't regret going without for a second, since I have no credit card balance to worry about.
Like a lot of folks posting, I both work a day job and sing a lot. It is difficult. I don't get nights off, I don't see friends with great frequency, I rarely travel, and I rarely date. But like most of us I love what I do and it's worth it. That's why we go to school & that's why we get master's degrees, because we feel passionately about our art and will do what it takes to improve.
So don't fret, keep bustin' your hump and all the best -
