Response to All I can say is from my experience, but!


Corporate attorneys and those working for big law firms can pull in megabucks.

Those that want to do public advocacy, environmental law and things like that most certainly do not make a lot of money.

And no, not everyone with a law degree lands a job right out of school. The chances are better at the name schools. And plenty from the less prestigious schools do okay too. But not all of them. Then there are the ones who do a year and drop out and still owe $50-60k. Ouch! Then there are the ones who graduate, get good jobs and then quit because they hate it.

I don't doubt there are plenty of bitter alums. But the odds of financial success are much higher than they are for a music school.
