Response to "lighter voices are more common" - is this true? why? |
| Del Monaco DID have a very light voice when he first started. Melocchi of course told him to start singing with the weight for which he was eventually known, but early he was singing Ernesto and Nemorino, reportedly with a very, very light instrument.
