My other problem is that I'm Canadian, which means I can't even audition for half of the YAPs out there. Canada has very few and I don't seem to fit the profile for any of them (wrong school on the resume, don't speak the right language, and the rest all said "the voice is too big, we have nothing for you"). Now, a house that is putting on Die Walkure certainly couldn't turn me down on that last bit, so I'd sure love to sing in one of those YAPs and cover a Valkyrie or something! But without papers, I can't even get my package processed, never mind get an audition! I'd love to try Germany, but I just had two friends get back from there with no luck whatsoever (and very few auditions), and I don't have the money to just go for a month or two, so... what to do, what to do??? We should start a club or something. Or a support group!
