cataplexy

I just returned from a trip to Portland to visit family and friends, had a great time. Sorry that Phil and I couldn't seem to hook up for a cup of coffee. My mother is up in her 80's and had to spend alot of time with her, she wanted to start getting things in order ( If you know what I mean). My brother was there from Belgium and his family, whom I hadn't seen in four years. We took our 11 year old granddaughter and she was quite bored with all the adults. All the running didn't give me the time to take my scheduled naps and I had the worst cataplexy all week. I was standing doing dishes at my moms and I just went down, no laughing, no emotion. I figure just the fatigue brought it on. I was down about five minutes. My mother had never witnessed a cataplexy attack and went into panic mode. I could here her asking my husband if I also had epilepsy. My husband told her it was cataplexy and explained. He said it kind of scared him too, because I've never been down that long and my eyes were shut but fluttering. I hurt my butt again, elbow and pulled a muscle in my neck. When I was alot younger it didn't bother me so much but being almost 60 I don't think my body can take this, I really fear breaking bones, which to this point have never had.
Pat sorry to here about your family, you are in my prayers.
