re: CPAP craped out

This is another one of those medical things that for some reason, this particular Lincare in Lake Havasu, Arizona, dropped the ball. Last winter after being dx with apnea too, they sent my rx to Lake Havasu, after about the sixth phone call to them and them loosing my file with my rx and sleep study, I told them to forget it. We were on our way home to Idaho at that time, so thought I'd just bring it up with my PCP. He got me in right away for another sleep study and the next day I had my machine. Well all goes well until a few nights ago and once again in SW Arizona my machine breaks down. I call Lincare in Idaho and my RT says she'll set it up with Havasu for a loaner and they will send my machine back to Idaho for repair. Well three days go by I hear nothing from Lincare in AZ, so I call, the girl tells me they have no loaners. She didn't bother to call three days ago and tell me or call the RT in Idaho. So I took it upon myself to call the Lincare in Yuma and volla! they have loaners and wanted me in right away and was there anything else they could do for me. The only thing is that my cpap is a REMSTAR automatic/heated humitifier M series and they do not have the newer models for loan. I guess anything is better than nothing at this point, (90 naps a day), so I guess first thing Monday morning I will head 85 miles to Yuma. The little window on the machine shows a Error 47, whatever that means. I searched the internet for cpap errors and found a message board with others asking the same question. Several different answers, one being that moisture gets into the machine and causes a short circut, any way there is no reset button and the machine has to go in for repairs.

Sorry for such a long rambling answer.
