Sorry to hear about the coast guard. The air force turned away my brother (for the academy too!) because of his history of migraines (it acts like a stroke). He got into a track for officership with the navy though :) The other brother with similar migraines got into the marine reserve. I havent been following too closely-- did you think of another branch of the military?
As for school, I wish you luck. I'm on the eight year track lol I just got diagnosed this year with N (fifth out of the eight) so it kinda feels like I'm only on like my second year. Weird, but I kinda lost a lot of time there.
