Christopher, i notice you are more concerned with what the heck happened to your appetite, and if you will stay strong and fit if you have to force it. the change in chemistry is a tough one, and you may have to add some supplement that gets your appestat back to normal.
but i think the vote among narkles is, change is the new rule. we go UP, we go Down, and some of us have plenty to spare, and some are lean to begin.
you may have to accomodate daily life a bit more, and keep stuff on hand that is comforting/tempting, not just the usual from your past.
try eating a bit at odd times, not everyone is healthier on a schedule.
try taking the provil in half doses.
try a snack or small meal before you sleep, since they say it is "stored" that way.
there are some body building supplements that are nutrient dense, and some are yummy.
if you have a yen for empty-ish foods, try substituting the mega-food equivalents. (fried, not baked means there is the food value of oils/butter in it.) get the old Fanny Farmer cookbook, that was written in different times, and cooking was often a survival tool.
and when you find something you really like, remember to change it up a bit so you dont get tired of it.
I'm trying to rethink my fattening information, and suggest the opposites. my b4 casts a 30 pound shadow too!
ps, like Lindsay said, if you wait even 10 or 15 minutes longer to eat, the slight nausea you get could suppress appetite and get in the way of everything.
