Rebecca and Vickie, where i come from nicnames like that have a bad way of sticking to us! we are verrrry careful, but sure enough, the police chief is called Peachy by EVERYONE, no matter how serious the conversation; an 80-something, successful realtor called Bubbles even on all her signs;
Lighthouse, Poochy, ChooChoo... and my personal favorite: one of the best portrait photographers, even his business name is Herbie... but his issei parents named him Steven. thing is, when we were kids he looked just like the comic book "Herbie, the Fat Fury".
His mom used to come unglued when we called and asked for Herbie.
