Hi all. I just wanted to let you know that Nord has expanded the Provigil pap. If you have no insurance and your income falls under their limit its free for a year. My priliminary screening was done over the phone and I qualify. They are sending me the application,they approve it and send me coupons to bring to the pharmacy. The hot line # is 1-800-675-8415. I also get my xyrem free thru NORD. We really need to do the leg work and find out what is availible to us to cut costs. I told my regular sleep doc about my financial situation and am now on a sliding scale. Dr. Javaheri was charging me $225.00 a visit and when I spoke to him about it he had me fill out a 1 page hardship form and he is now treating me for free and refunding anything I have paid so far. He wants another sleep study ( not MSLT ) and that will be free. I went to a phyc crisis center for my bipolar disorder and they set me up with a free shrink and therapist and give me free samples of my meds. I know that not everyone qualifies for everything and that not all programs are availible in every area but please seek out the programs that are availible to you. It has turned out very well for me.
