I personally think your doctor is talking out of turn or is miss informed. He cannot predict what your N symptoms will be like in the future. Some people only have EDS, some all the symptoms, some never get worse, some may even get better and some get worse. We are all individual and so little known about our disorder that doctors can not and should not make those predictions. I was fifty when my symptoms became very bad, and my little cataplexy attacks became the falling to the floor cataplexy attacks. You may have to do some educating about N to your doc.
