Sleepy Picnic 2009

i have enjoyed being around Pam and her great other half for a few days, they are so fun and lighthearted, and we got lost in hours of story telling.

they came into town for Pam's appointment at Mayo in Scottsdale, and i am going to tell this my way (muAH HAHA) while she is on the road, before she can tell it her way: no surgery, hours of scanning and testing and they cannot find the spinal injury that would have to be repaired, it was all gloriously not there.

the real benefit is that Mayo Sleep Clinic took Pam on, kind of while she was there, (i guess some maven figured that her insurance must be good enough if she was being treated in Ortho). getting into that looks so promising, since she has no medication right now, and her machine and mask at night are not working perfectly.

get this: the ortho almost scolded her for not "getting the N and C under control", as if that was easy and something we would NOT do if we could!
well, good, i hope the sleep clinic is that confident and will stop at nothing to get that done!

for me personally, i feel so close to ALL of you and depend on you so much, (you will never know) that i want to be close enough to chum around. i mean Pam is absolutely the sweetest person, and being close enough to walk back and forth with a coffee cup in my hand was bliss.

so now my secret longing, is to sit at the kitchen table with Vickie and GEM and Scarlet and Teresa, and Phil and and (*memory lapse too-lazy-to-look-for-names) because this whole SUPPORT idea would make such a difference to the way we live with this. and Melody! yeah sorry Melody, but you are someone i would love to tallllllkkk with. and Steve! and Dawg! oh well, you know who you are.

well that is the latest from the Arizona Sleepy Picnic scene. Pam and Bob have gone to Yuma to be with an elderly aunt because her husband is in the hospital. and i am giving thanks that Pam is healed.
