(no login)I experience HH and sleep paralysis on a daily basis and my brain just knows it will all be over soon, but
today I had a scary experience. I laid down for my normal nap, my chihuahua, Paco, above my head on his own
pillow. I started to pet him and tell him have a good nap, I was on my stomach, with intentions of rolling
onto my back and putting on my cpap mask. I began sleep paralysis right away. My pillow was putting pressure
on my throat and with obstructive apnea could not breath. Some how I have learned to make this
gutteral sound (I think) to let my husband know to wake me up or move me into a more comfortable position.
Well with the air conditioner going and my husband in the living room watching TV he could not hear me, if I
was making the sound at all, it was so scary, knowing I was having trouble breathing and couldn't move to
relieve the pressure on my throat. I guess I'm going to have to train my chihuahua to lick my face or
something to wake me up. Having a service dog is a good idea.
